Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral to see Dr. Libby at Riverstone Urology?
Many patients schedule directly, while some plans require a referral. Our staff checks your insurance when you call and tells you what your plan requires.
How fast can I be seen for a kidney stone or severe urinary pain?
The practice protects time for urgent same-day or next-day visits, especially for severe pain, fever, or blood in the urine. Call the office so the team can review your symptoms and direct you to the right level of care.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring a photo ID, insurance card, medication list, and any recent records related to your urologic problem. If you have recent imaging or lab results, bring those reports as well.
Do you offer telehealth visits?
Telehealth visits work well for some follow ups and medication checks. Ask the team when you schedule, and they will match you with an in-person or video visit based on your needs.
